Alpina Optioned?

I recently got an opportunity to buy an n63 with 15k miles for dirt cheap. Owner said it was an Alpina. How could I verify that these turbos are in fact the larger/desirable ones? I have the vin and part numbers for the turbos but nothing that solidifys that it's an Alpina N63.

Sadly, its NOT an Alpina.By looking at the intercooler hoses which would have been gray. Easy tell is if you look at the intercoolers, they would have an Alpina logo instead of BMW and the hoses are gray and for newer Alpina ones, the hoses are much shorter as the Alpina intercoolers are bigger.

That's helpful 👍. Glad to know what I'm getting exactly.

F01 v8 twin turbos are in fact the same engine as Alpina in the models < 2014. Essentiallyt its missing the 21' alpina rims and interior stitching, HUD display etc interior.
