Need Support On E90 M-Tech Kit For 335i

Hey guys ... I just installed my m-tech kit, and ran in to a couple of issues.

First the passenger fender liner that comes stock on my 335i has a "vent" besides the holes for the brake ducts. See the attached photo below.

Now my question is ... when you guys got you M-Tech kit did the new fender liner for the passenger side have that hole? as mine didnt, and I had to use trimming shears to make one (which IMO is kind of janky)

They know you ordered for a 335i cause you had the diffusor for bth exhausts...they must know you needed the correct fenderwll. i guess in europe most dont have the oil cooler. id call and complain...ill let you know if i got the right one...doubt it though.

Mine didn't have a cut out either. Also, it doesn't come with the lower body guard either. You need to order those seperately.

Here you go for the lower guard:

51-75-8-040-112 Under Carriage Cover for M-Tech Kit 1 79.92

Can't find any info on the wheel arch for cars with oil cooler. Probably need to contact Evan / Jason to find out the part.

It's not Tischer's fault, but it's weird that BMW doesn't package these into the aerokit.

It's the front wheel well liner. For those cars that are equipped with an oil cooler, the wheel well liner has a cutout with vents for moving the air through the oil cooler.

Kev that part number you listed is for the fender liner? I thought it was for the lower guard?

I didn't coz mine is a no-sport so no oil cooler, yet. I'm thinking of doing the Dinan oil cooler though.

Thats what I did ... and I jerry-rigged the vent from the stock liner in the hole, but not when parking my tire rubs on it ... I can leave the vent off, but then Im afraid some of the oil cooler fins will be damaged by road debri

Hey guys. Jason and I are looking into this issue. We spoke with BMW about it but they said they were not aware of any issues as of yet. They said we should work w/ our service department to address the issue w/ BMW by submitting a Puma Case....so that's what we're currently working on. Hopefully this will result in BMW issuing a new service or parts bulletin w/ a fix.

For right now, we've adjusted our aero kits to include a new belly pan (51758040112). As far as the fender liners, they do not seem to exist for the aero kits w/ oil coolers...other than what comes w/ the aero kits. It looks as though a hole needs cut...but we'll confirm once we hear back from BMW.

Can anyone with a 335i w/ oil cooler confirm if the vehicle's original fender liners work w/ the aero kit...or if the vehicle's original belly pan works as well? We are just curious as to what your bodyshop did...and if the new belly pan and different fender liners are actually needed.

Also, we'll offer the belly pan at our dealer cost to anyone that has already purchased an aero kit (sedan) from us. PM me if this applies to you!
