Any confirmation of a 2018 Model Year M2?

Any confirmation of whether there will be a 2018 model year M2? Or will they go directly to the 2019 M2 CS and skip model year 2018?

They're skipping directly to the 2020 M2 CSR

BMW aren't going to build any MY2018 base M2's.

Production will resume again in July 2018 for the eagerly anticipated MY2019 model.

I for one wake up every morning thinking about starting a new thread to waste everyone's time. But being lazy I never get around to it...

Yeah. I'm not the guy who actually reads all the threads, wakes up with the idea to write a useless duplicative thread to piss everyone off on purpose, but is too lazy to do it. Completely different style.

He already posted in the LCI cancelled thread,so there is no reason why he should be creating a new thread,which basically asks the exact same question.
