FS: 2011 (60) 120i ES Coupe ***PRICE DROP***
My daughter is reluctantly selling her much-loved first Beemer as it's too small for all the paraphernalia associated with a new baby.
The car has covered 65,825 miles, and is in excellent condition inside & out. It's got a full service history, with the latest service at the local main BMW dealer at just over 60K miles. It also comes with the balance of a 2-year service & MOT pack. It's had 2 previous owners, and has both keys and all the original documentation. It also has 4 new tyres, and is MOT'd to the end of February 2018. Private plate isn't included, original reg. is SB60HBN (registered Jan 2011) - currently sitting SORNed on my driveway. Any inspection welcome. Now looking for £6,000 ovno PM me if you want additional pics or information. Thanks . Last edited by Blacktemplar; 06-22-2017 at 05:04 PM.. |

Just want to say, that looks very nice and good luck with the sale I'd have had the Arnold Clark sticker removed by now though His stickers are everywhere, even down here in the south-west!

Cheers, spent a lot of time and elbow-grease claying and polishing it up so was chuffed when the sun made a rare appearance! Point noted on the AC sticker - it's glued on with something that seems impossible to remove but will give it a go

Usually i pick from a corner and peel slowly then use autoglym tar remover on kitchen towel and all residue will be gone then wipe again with baby wipe or water

Where is she advertising it? Surprised that it's not gone already.

So far two calls - one who said the VED was too high (it's a 2L petrol, what did you expect? Answer: £30 a year. Moron), and a second who didn't like a very small rear bumper crease, despite the fact that the rest of the car is immaculate. Haven't sold privately for a long time, so not really sure what buyers' expectations are for a six year old car. I think the car is pretty well mint for its age and mileage, apart from a couple of minor points, but what do I know....? |

Reason I asked was to suggest Gumtree as you are in a large city. I advertised my car last year on AutoTrader and GT and had many, many, more responses from GT. Are you deleting and relisting every day? This is pretty essential to maximise views. My eventual buyer was keen as mustard and had seen it 'pop up today' despite him being looking for weeks and me having advertised for a fortnight. So, timing the ad appearing is very important. Refresh it in the afternoon every day to catch evening browsers. I had all the time-wasting emails and texts too (Would you take £5k, when it was priced at £7k etc). Mine wasn't a million miles away really, at the time 7 years old 320d, 105k miles, up for £7k. I played up the private owner, FBMWSH etc big time in my wording.

Never paid a penny to sell on GT. I did handover about £70 to AutoTrader though for the same ad and absolutely zero responses. Free GT garnered maybe a dozen responses and two serious viewers.

Pistonheads could well be worth a shot, particularly for a car like this which is more than just 'white goods'. I sold my V8 X5 on there very quickly, while getting zero response from Autotrader.
