Looks like they intentionally increased the grill size to have camaraderie with the x7.

I was hoping for a large grille. This one is too small for me.

Seeing the fronts side by side makes it seem like its still bad, but not as bad as originally thought. Still need to see in person and on the road to get a better feel. The slimmed headlights dont help its case.

There is nothing sporty about a big grill that is one reason Audi is not attractive
Think of all the bugs nesting there

The SUV market is bigger than ever and still growing. Luxury limousines are becoming a rarity. But BMW thinks if they slap the X7 grill on the 7er it will sell better. It is like they want this segment to die.

Actually... Looks nicer to me than the initial G11/12. Especially the side and rear profile.
I can handle the grill too.

LCI has actually grown on me. The grille is obviously too large, but they had to do something as side-by-side with the S-class the 7er's front looked very pedestrian in comparison.

Rear is a big improvement in my book.

Overall, still too bland a car to take on the Merc, especially from inside.

I would call the 7er classy and restrained.
