Moonroof pics?
Hi,
My dad is interested in the X2 but most of the Youtube reviews don't show the moonroof option. Anyone have any pics of it? Does it open or is it fixed? Also, does the X2 have a powered tailgate as standard? Thanks!

Sorry for no pics, but it is a two part system. The first part for the driver and front passenger opens and overlaps on top of the one for the rear passengers. It is tinted (at least mine was) and stops just in front of the heads of the rear passengers to accommodate more head room for them. It also has a sun shade if you dont want to get the sun in.
Here is a link so you can see it for yourself in 3D and images https://www.peterpanbmw.com/detail-2...-17593191.html The X2 does have the powered tailgate as standard. If you code it you can even close it with the keyfob |

here are some pix of the moonroof. I think its great and would highly suggest it, the front half opens up and when closed it really opens up the space and gives a nice open feeling inside the car.

Looks like they went back to a more structural slider as a shade for the moonroof. My X1 has a cloth shade which drooped to the point that you could not retract it. I just had it replaced under warranty. A terrible design.
