How is everyone's X3-Comp performing in Sport+ mode?

I ask b/c I have issues with mine that are quickly being addressed by BMW (they are taking care of me).

Oh oh... I had problems see thread on wastegate valve failure... still waiting on a replacement 2 weeks and counting!

So what's your issue? Can you provide some additional details please? Is the wastegate by any chance?

They are still diagnosing the issue. The check engine light came on in Sport+ mode. Perhaps they are baffled by it and waiting on HQ to weigh in.

I had the very same problem and it was the wastegate valve.

Serious problem there!

It's too damn fast. Honestly, how could BMW expect any mortal SUV owner to usefully harness all this available power?

And I'm still breaking her in under 5k RPM..... I dunno, am considering a return under lemon laws. Minivan with similar cargo space may be in my future....

Place a small block of wood behind the accelerator pedal that only allows it to be pressed half way, no need for a mini-van!

I’ve had no issues with anything in any mode so far. I’m at ~2,500 mi., had the first service at ~ 1,150 mi. I was pretty easy through break-in, and now I drive however I want.

I use the car daily in the Phoenix area (so hot ambient temps), and have done trips to Sedona and Flagstaff (Mountains) running as high as 135 mph bursts to clear traffic.
