Painted M Tire Valve Caps

Got these on eBay for less than $10. Surprisingly they pop more than expected.

Beware of them seizing. I did metal caps once and I had to use a torch to remove it. I will not make that mistake again.

I'll try. Sometimes links are blocked. I also put a dab of anti seize grease on it.

This!!!

I had the same thing happen to me on the 2013 335xi I have pictures of in My Garage here in the forum on my profile. Bought some ///M caps, from BMW for that matter, and after a season change, went to either add or remove air from the tires, and all four caps had seized to the valve stem. Worse yet, when I went to remove them, the caps bent and broke into little twisted and sharp pieces. It was an absolute nightmare. I finally used a torch like our brother here, and got em off after at least a couple hours of tedious work making sure I didn't damage anything.

Ever since, I've admired the caps online and on shelves at BMW service, but for me, it's the stock rubber ones only….not worth the risk….I've explained this to others who commented or posted about getting or wanting these….and if you are dead-set on getting them, I highly recommend you double check and unscrew/screw them regularly…rather safe than sorry!

Just put a drop of anti seize lube on the threads same as you do with lug nuts and spacers.
