Canada Tax Pricing New Vehicles for M3 and M4

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to know anyone ordered their M3/M4, is the luxury sales tax effective on top of the 13% HST, now?

Thoughts? Has this got you to reconsider certain options exceeding 100k? which most of these vehicles are about 115K to 150K, when optioned up..

To be perfectly honest, I have not seen the luxury tax being charged.

It’s part of the budget proposal but I don’t think it’s actually in effect yet. I pick up my m3 tomorrow and it’s a little over $100k, I’ll let you know if I get charged anything.

It was supposed to take effect on Jan 1st but it was postponed, there's no specific date.
