Hi Guys,

did someone of you ordered already this carbon vents from aliexpress and the fitment was on point?
I have some doubts to order them from china for 6xx-8xx euro and later on the fitment is a mess. In case of a fitment claim to get the refund back is of course also almost impossible.

I ordered mine from xxii tuning last year. Have been on my car for over a year, on a daily driver. Fitment is really good, and they have held up quite well.

Leebmann sells only oem parts. I think the originals have a price around 2k. That’s too much

I would not buy any carbon fiber parts from Ali express. I bought the air inlets and carbon fiber mirror caps, both had issues. Ended up returning them after opening a dispute with Ali express, they partially refunded me my money back, which was a joke. After spending couple of hundred on the parts they refunded me $35. Got PayPal involved and got my full money back. What sucked was I had to ship the parts back to china which is not cheap.

This is what the vent looked like. It had no holes cutout to mount them to the bumper. Seller told me to cutout the holes myself, I told him I'm not going to do that. Then he said he'll send me a new set, month went by and he kept stalling. That's when I got PayPal involved.

Save yourself the trouble and headaches and order locally.

Yea in the past I faced similar problems with my F80‘s 3 piece Diffusor. Fitment was an absolutely mess and the discussions were almost the same like yours.
But I thought now once they start to increase prices for parts dramatically that maybe also the quality getting better but as i see it’s not the case.

so ill start by saying i bought my front vents from CT Carbon and fitment and quality is as good as it gets and their customer service was fantastic. I went this route because they had strong pricing and going through a company like this typically means you have some recourse through customer service if something goes wrong vs going through an alibaba will most likely be a nightmare.

But what i will say is that 99% of the major "carbon companies" source all of these carbon products they are selling directly from the factories and trading companies you see on alibaba. So all of them essentially have the exact same products as long as you get it from a reputable and verified supplier on alibaba. Again, downside is going to be the assistance you get if something goes wrong.

I have a wholesale/distribution business and source around 75% of the products that i sell directly from China. Majority of the major brands you see on the shelves all use the same factories and slap a different label on the product. These carbon fiber products are no different. Just find a supplier that is legit and you will get the same product these bigger name resellers are offering.
