AC Hydraulic DK20 on the G05
DK13HLQ for the lighter ones

The Harbor Freight Daytona jacks are decent for the build/price.
They have gone up a bit post CV but still decent value.

2.5 tons car. I'd choose steel over aluminum and that's with steel jack stands as well...I believe the typical aluminum jacks often throw in a set of aluminum jack stands as well

The Arcan's are useful for a track day, etc - light weight portable Aluminum....but I'd choose steel over aluminum if given the choice for a jack or jackstand

Lincoln (now Hein-Warner) 2 ton floor jack. USA made and it's about 30 years old and it's still the best. But it costs about $400 today. So even most professionals buy the cheaper jacks.

QuickJack 6000ELX as soon as I can figure out a way to have it delivered without the wife finding out.

I like the Arcan, especially when they are on sale at Costco versus the Daytona at Harbor Freight. Much smoother and lighter overall, but bang for the buck the Daytona jacks are decent.

Project Farm did a good review of these a few weeks ago:

I have a 3T HF aluminum jack that's an Arcan knockoff, but I usually only use it to support axles when one of the trucks is on the lift. It does work well, though, and it's way lighter than a steel jack, and so much better when I need something for the trailer tool box.

For lifting vehicles, I'm fond of Rotary:

What was the total cost of the lift with parts and install? I have the space and height and would love to do something like this.

I use a Harbor Freight Daytona floor jack, but I don't trust their jack stands. They have had recalls on the jack stands and it's not something I want to trust my life with.
