Non export and no resale for 1 yr

I dont mind signing non export...but no resale seems much
I dont plan on reselling but it should be my choice.
Is every dealer doing this?
How do they enforce the resale clause?

Ontario dealers think they are such top shit lol. Never heard of this. I’ve purchased 2 g82 in Quebec and never signed anything.

Perhaps you’re right. I’m very close to my dealer and I know that there were at least of couple of M3’s that were allocated/ordered by a customer and when the dealer found out the customer had plans to ship them overseas (perhaps by not signing the letter, not sure), the dealer cancelled the order and put the cars up to the next person inline.

Had this in Quebec for a BMW in 2018 or so. Not sure it was on the 2020 M2 also purchased in quebec

I had to sign a no-export document for Porsche. That rule makes sense to me.

I get the non export.
Porsche asks me to sign right if first refusal, means nothing. They can make you an offer, doesn’t mean you have to take or agree to their number.

I’ll sign a non export but no sale I will not sign if the car is bought outright in cash which I do.

Here in Sweden the agreement for my M4 says no re-sale for 6 months. A bit odd, but they gave me a good discount so I don’t really mind.
