S-class and 7-series interiors are both remarkable in their own ways.
S-class always catches my eye on the road, it is a beautiful sedan. I've seen more 7ers pop up and I just can't warm up to it. The front looks like a train, rear looks a bit SUV-like. Very chunky design overall. And based off reviews it doesn't seem particularly sporty or engaging to drive. I think BMW has a winner on their hands with the new 7er. But the S-class is equally as good.

That's to be expected when BMW has taken more of a polarizing approach to the design of some of their cars. I personally don't like the exterior of the car, but love how BMW is pushing design. Like the rest of their polarizing cars, I may grow to actually like it. It's happened with most all of their other cars (4 Series, M cars, etc). I'll say this about the new 7 Series, seeing some on the road and having seen many S-Classes and A/S8's, the 7 Series has an incredible amount of road presence. The S-Class and definitely the Audi will go under the radar, not this thing. |

I wouldn’t mind being driven around in any of these, but no way I’d want to actually drive them

I like the S8 the best, the styling is timeless and it has the best balance. I don’t mind the new M3, but I’m sorry but the new 7 series front end is awful, it looks like a distorted SUV

I think the design of the S class suits this class of vehicles the most; classy and clean looking. The Audi is pretty boring looking in my opinion. I like the 7 series’ interior the best so I’d prefer to be driven around in that.

They all are boring as hell. The 7 and S class both took a step back from the previous generation.
The A8 has been irrelevant for 10 years.

The reality is that the S Class is always a taxi car whereas the 7 is more like a car which is driven by the owner him/herself.
The 7 also has greater presence on the road and certainly more creative in its looks and design. Therefore the 7 wins if you want an ultimate driving machine; whereas the S class wins if you want a taxi to drive others around. |

So funny how they keep pressing on the g70 dashboard bottoms like idiots and expecting it to respond lol , also i don't know why they are trashing the automatics doors, never faced any issues with it, its also a new technology so no one should expect it to be free from any faults .

In my personal experience I didn't see any faults, They think its faulty because it doesn't behave as they expect , So what I am trying to say is that we can expect a new technology to not behave exactly as we expect just because its a new thing , and this applies to all products and not only cars that's why big companies like BMW have R&D departments. |

It's no ultimate driving machine. I'd say only the Panamera in that segment comes close.

Not sure if they said that about 7 but if they did, I don't agree with them. I had Audi S7 before my 760 so have a good idea how they compare. With 760, it is hard to hide the body size but when you put it in sports mode, it rides amazingly well when you push it around the corner its size. Obviously its not as nimble as my S7 but thats because of size difference

I'll take the S class all day long it just sets the standard, as always, and its elegant and stylish. I agree with the new BMW design is just awful except for 3serie and the X5/X6 but the rest absolute no interest. Totally missing the alethic elegance BMW represented in the past.

The 7, like the last one, is sensitive to color and trim. I liked the Brooklyn Gray, but I think the 7 looks terrible in M-Sport with black trim and especially black grille.
For some reason, that’s what dealers, buyers, and even BMW seem to be speccing all the time. I guess people think it looks sporty and aggressive, but it actually just looks confused, weirdly weighted, and choppy in my opinion. In luxury trim with chrome and two-tone, it looks like a rolls Royce and would have probably garnered much more praise I think. |
