Has anyone in the GTA been able to get a discount on a G80 M3 recently or are they still selling at full MSRP?

With such rates, you can get 1% easily off price and 1% off rates. On G80 they rarely give 2-3% but on G82, i've seen 5-10% a lot.

So I was looking for a new M3CX and there are no discounts to be had whatsoever in GTA. I spoke with 2 dealers I have dealt with in past and bought 2 cars each from and one had a 2 year wait and other could not give me any firm allocation. The issue now is not price rather allocation. If you are even lucky enough to get an allocation it's like winning the lottery. At this point you pay MSRP or nothing. Some dealers are marking up on MSRP. I finally got a firm allocation for this month back in December from a different dealer.

Weird... my friend got near 10k rebate on a brand new M3 Jahre the dealer had for 4-5 months. and I got myself 2.5% off my individual order. got allocation in 2 weeks also and production was set 2 months after.

This may have been the case last year (pre interest rate) but it's certainly not the case at the moment. There are no lengthy waitlists.

When did you order? The 50 Jahre is like $150K here and likely a hard sell so maybe dealer incented sale. Seems like allocations are so few amongst dealers demand is high.

my friend bought the car 5-6 weeks ago. dealer trying to sell Jahre's at 20-25k over MSRP which is pretty much trims and another wheel color... nothing else.

For myself, deposit made january 16th 2023 for individual color, allocation received early february, order approved early march and production set in april. Delivery june 22nd approximate.

Was hopping that with the high interest rate environment, there would less demand... but nope.

Ordering - lots are empty within the GTA area

All M cars in Manitoba and SK are all MSRP unless you have BMW loyalty discount.

I’d like to know too. Most dealers I spoke to if ordering aren’t offering discounts. Only for cars on the lot.

Got 3% also on mine but because I know the dealer owner. Full individual car.

Account is too new, can’t DM yet - Will send one over once I can. Ordering 2 cars, therefore the small discount.

I was able to get a 2% discount on my G80 M3 by applying my local BMW club chapter discount.

I've only seen minor discounts recently on cars that no one wanted (i.e. Purple 50y M3 with Carbon Ceramics).

I am in Alberta but any any BMW affiliated club like the Trillium BMW club would qualify for membership discounts on new BMW car purchases. I know here in Alberta you have to be a member for at least 1 year to qualify for the discount. I would imagine there is something similar for Trillium BMW.

Once you are ready to purchase there is some paperwork that goes right to the BMW Canada head office for approval.
