Hi gents, after endless search and weighing of options I decisively went out and put in my order for a set of Rays wheels... With that being said the wait time for our specs are at least 8 months. Just wanted to create this thread as a support group and communicate timing updates if there are homies out there in or had been in the same boat.
P.S. my buddy has a supra and the fact that supra has so many different options readily available is making me so mad

I have forged APEX Sprint Line wheels coming in 2 weeks.

APEX has a FITMENT GUIDE for the G42.

I was sold by their VIDEO about how their wheels are constructed that makes them a top-quality choice, though certainly there are other top brands.

I've been wondering besides brake clearance offsets is there anything else could impact whether it fits. Cuz seems like on the guide our g42 can fit 9 and 10…would it be safe to assume if another set of wheels with smaller or same offset numbers they would fit?

Thanks!

There are other considerations, clearance from suspension components, fender clearance and poke, probably others too.

I have the ZTK and went with the 19x9.5 square APEX VS-5RS, which weigh 19.1 pounds.

I'll be running 265/35/19 and that is known to fit well with the stock suspension, though there are some outlier tires that have wider section and tread widths that are a tight fit.

Here's a pic of the VS-5RS in black, though it comes in 5 colors.

I almost pulled the trigger on Apex lol. But have always wanted rays. Just wasn't sure if blindly go into 9 and 10 would have good fitment and ordered 8.5 and 9.5 😂

Now I'm second guessing the decision lol. Maybe the 9 and 10 would fit after all.

A friend of mine put me on to a forum member that does custom wheel orders on the side. I am waiting on a custom forged wheel right now 19" x 9.5" ET25 just like the popular APEX setup. According to people who have previously ordered, the wheels were around 19lbs but I plan on putting mine on the scale when they arrive.

I got the update that the wheels are about to head into production soon. Wheels should be 21lbs each when they arrive.
