S68 Break In Period? Oil and filter spec?

Is there a 1200 mile oil change service required on the new motor?

Does anyone have the oil type and filter info? Not showing yet at Bimmerworld or FCP Euro sites.

Well we bought one this weekend, so I can now answer my own question.

0W-30, and 10,000 miles to first oil change. The computer shows a message that there is reduced power for a 300 mile break in period.

I have S68 on my 760 and was wondering the same. Dealer told me 10k miles is the first oil change. But man S68 is helluva an engine, enjoy!

I haven't found the oil filter part number. Is it the same as M50i?

Confirmed, same filter as S63(M50i) but you need the single use plastic drain plug:

11-42-5-A33-C43 Filter
