Didn't notice a performance change but really nowhere to really test that on my way home.

There shouldn’t be any performance change. The only change is that now you can unleash all the power by going full throttle and to the redline.

I’m trying to drive it a lot to get to my break-in service soon but I’m still at 1,150 km… 850 km to go still!!! Can’t wait. Gotta hit it before track days in July/August.

Is the first break in service charged or do they do this free as it’s required?

It’s included in the price of the car, as every scheduled maintenance until 3 years or 60,000 km

If it’s scheduled maintenance, there’s no additional charge.

We have free maintenance in North America (US/Canada), but rules have changed a few years ago. We used to have 4 years/80k KM of warranty and maintenance included.
Maintenance has since been lowered to 3 years or 60k KM.

You might want to double check if maintenance is still included in the UK as well. If it is, then all good.

If not, you’re looking at an engine oil change + differential fluid change. Nothing major.

A few funny looks out the dealership windows from a couple of people as I went backwards and forwards a couple of times in front of the service entrance to get it to change from 1999.9 to 2000.0.
