So got the break in service done last week at 2000 kms. Interesting on the invoice it states:

Complaint: Perform running in inspection

Correction: Perform engine oil service, renewed differential fluid, tourqed drain plugs, inspected for leaks/fluid levels.

QTY FP Number Description

2 83-22-2-447-362 Hypoid axle oil G4
2 33-11-7-525-064 Screw plug with O-R
1 11-42-8-092-620 Set oil-filter elem
70 83-21-2-444-599 Engine oil 0W-30 GA

From videos of this service recently, seems like the diff fluid is changed, but the wording they use is renewed. I haven't had time to call them to verify, just wondering if others that had this service done for MY23 M3 have same wording on their invoice?

edit: after doing more research I confirmed 2 x 500ML axle oil part # is correct.

Wouldn’t worry. Renewed is another way of saying replaced. Doesn’t mean recycled.

Renewed = new diff oil and drain plug

Don't worry. It just means they used the oil from a lower mileage car to top yours up.
