Hey gang!

Does anyone know if the G87 M2 badge is exactly the same as the F87 badge (without the competition bit)?

Trying to source a black badge but I can only find F87 OEM badges in black and they look identical but I’m unsure on the sizes

We’ve had confirmation from IND in the forum before they’re NOT the same (G87 and F87 that is).

Not the same but very close. Most people wouldnt notice but other owners would. Mainly the coloring of the colors are different shades.

I ordered and installed the black badge from IND. The quality is very good and it looks great.

I’m from Melbourne Australia, but travelling to the US tomorrow for 6 weeks.
Was hoping to pick one up if available anywhere.
Shipping from IND to Melbourne is $76USD. I’d rather just bring it back with me

I purchased mine from autoid for about half the price of IND.

Or just buy the OEM M2 Comp badge and only use the M2 part. I'd be concerned about quality with all this other stuff.

Or use the Comp badge too, and badge-engineer your own G87 Comp.

The one I linked is Genuine. Looks like Auto ID is aftermarket? IND is very high priced, doesnt make sense to me when the Genuine one is less.

The OEM badge cost me $59 from autoid.
