50th Anniversary Roundels

Anyone not a fan of these? Thinking of changing all to traditional colour or a carbon fibre set. Hood, truck, and wheel centres.

Thoughts?

My car is BSM and will have the frost gold 1000M wheels

Just meh IMO. I ordered the "cf roundels" from IND. Note, they are not actually carbon fiber but hand painted to look like carbon fiber (same person who does the hand painting on the black M2 basges). Quality is outstanding but they are back ordered and a delay to receive the roundela.

You’re saying your car will have 50th anniversary badges from factory and you are not a fan of them? Not following right.

If you want the regular OEM badges I have the set I took off my G42. My G87 has standard badges now and I already have heritage badges to swap to. I don't need two sets of back up badges.

PM me and we'll work out a deal.

EDIT: Nevermind, totally misread your post.

No, I didnt order the 50th Anniv roundels. Switching from regular OEM to IND's cf roundels.

I’m asking the OP as I didn’t understand this thread.

Yes. My car has the 50th anniversary badges and I do not like them.

Gotcha. Sorry, I ended up seeing your profile saying “on order” and that you said your call “will have” so I thought you didn’t have the car on hand yet.

Lots of folks looking for those, and they cost extra! I’m sure someone will swap them with you.

I agree that traditional looks better with BSM and those wheels.

Are these easy to swap out yourself? I asked my dealer about replacing the front, rear and center caps and he suggested they do the swap so nothing gets damaged. I’m like how hard could it be?

What do you expect the dealer to say?

I think they will look good with AW, but agree they probably won’t look good on Red.

Quite the opposite.

To answer the OP, it’s easy, but there’s a possibility of marring the paint when you’re prying the emblem that’s stuck on with adhesive.

Not much of a chance if you mask the area around the emblem.
