Retrofit Surround View w/ MMI box

I am wondering if I get the side mirrors with the cameras, would the MMI boxes be able to support 360 view? I see there is the function in the software

It would depend on the specific MMI box. I know they support front and rear cameras but haven't heard of anyone setting up a 360 degree setup. The cameras would be wired directly to the MMI box and would be hooked up with RCA cables so the OEM cameras in the side mirrors wouldn't work unless you replaced the OEM cameras with aftermarket cameras. Seeing the MMI box documentation would help so we can see what it supports.

There are Chinese aftermarket 360 degree setups for sale. I've seen one forum member install it and he liked it. He had to calibrate it. The OEM 270 degree surround view doesn't have the front camera so this would give a true 360 degrees.
