Anyone installed the euro Aspherical Mirror Glass Package?

Just pondering this as I clearly don't know what I am missing! Anyone take a US car and install these euro mirrors for the implied upgrade?

Worth it?

So here is the package from IND.. I tripped into it looking at what else they had for the G87, so was just curious. The visors I may end up doing simply because our stupid warning stickers are so obnoxious.

The price is steep for mirrors imo, maybe if I find the part number and get it for less directly from bmw I’d get them.

I have found the part numbers and a euro source for cheaper on the entire package.. *grin*

Now just trying to figure out if its actually WORTH it to do the mirrors.

So they should be..

mirrors (77318527055, 77318527056)
visors (51168097329, 51168097332)

I have ordered fromm Schmiedmans before, and their prices are good and shipping to the US very reasonable.

I have found from the couple of times I have bought from them (for example F22 M240i mirror glass), that their estimated times are quite accurate. Currently showing 21 business days for the glass. They seem to be more like a BMW dealer as opposed to aftermarket supplier in being able to obtain the parts.

Good to know. One of the visors has no date which is funny, I’ll shoot them an email about it

How sure are you on the mirror part numbers? Been doing some research this morning and I'm not more confused than ever (heated versions? driver assistance?)

Now just trying to figure out if its actually WORTH it to do the mirrors.
Had OEM aspherical mirrors on my previous car (MK7 GTI) and they were amazing. Definitely worth it.

Install was a fairly easy DIY. But not sure what it would be like on a BMW and these crazy shaped mirrors caps.

GREAT to know thank you! IND is awesome and figured if they had the kit, it was for good reason.
