factory front camber large Variance

Took my 2024 g87 m2 today into alignment completely stock car little over 800 miles on it and noticed the front camber had a decently large front camber difference this was with 3/4 tank of gas and me in the driver seat (210 pounds)

The standard BMW alignment spec requires 68kg on each front seat, 68kg in the middle of the back seat and 21kg in the trunk, together with a full fuel tank. 0.4 degrees higher camber on the driver’s side is possible with 95kg in just the driver’s seat instead.

Just find tracks that run clockwise and you are good to go.

I had front camber plates installed recently - so not apples to apples - but anecdotally, in order to get the camber equal on both sides, the driver side took an extra 6mm of negative adjustment to achieve the same negative camber as the passenger side. Like for like, it kind of means I have the opposite effect as you. The only thing I can think of is the subframe wasn't too precisely centered. If it really bugs you, certain performance shops may be able to address the issue for you.

Are you guys getting these alignment while using stock wheels? I've notice the stock wheels don't really provide a uniform mounting area all the way around and if you don't find the same "flat spot" on the wheel lip, your readings will be off.

I am having this same problem with the car lowered, did you ever found out why is this?

You can put a magnetic camber gauge or digital angle gauge (they are faily cheap on Amazon) on your brake disk surface and get a reading yourself.

I'm assuming manufacturing tolerances - what else could it be?
