The only difference I could discern was the front grill appears smaller; otherwise it just looked like a car driving around in the snow to me. I WOULD expect the electric versions to come native with NACS however. What other "big changes" are they referring to or am I missing in the vid?

They can't spoil it because the 7 Series is selling very well, so from the outside it will be minimal changes. Who knows, maybe they are testing new bumpers for the Alpina package version. The only change I can see is the horizontal grill. If the 7 Series is to be akin to an expensive Rolls Royce rather than a cheap Neue Klasse then the big chrome grill must be retained. I prefer the vertical grill as in the Rolls Royce. The front lights continue to be double.

Hopefully NACS comes to PHEV at the same time, can't think of a reason why it wouldn't.

It's been rumored. It would be cool to see the B7 return.

If they could mimick the Rolls headlights- the 7 might have a chance of looking much better.

Hopefully BMW redeems themselves from the absolutely ATROCIOUS Facia design that scorched my Retinas in 2023.
The interior is fantastic but I have to love walking up to my car from what's on the outside above all else.

They would have to do the XM and another x7 mini lci as the split lights were part of thier premium design differentiation strategy.

Personally, I think the x7 wears it best in real life but the 7 does it best in photos. Xm is just something else…..

Agree, the X7 definitely pulls it off best. I like the looks of the G70 but to me it is a very, very color and trim sensitive car. An Alpina variant would look awesome. Fingers crossed.

Garage List
The split headlight can work but it’s a very fine margin from it being horrendous - Rolls Royce has managed to execute it properly and even Audi with the new A6 Avant, both designs seemed to have been carefully thought out and implemented vs. BMW’s design which looks like multiple people and teams worked on each set of headlights.

The current 7 Series is selling really well especially in Asia. Looking forward to this LCI version.

I just saw one in town today, a previous generation B7. So striking in person.

It would be interestint to see the behind-the-scenes video of how the testing crew lives and works during winter testing. Not for the less than resilient.
