These daytime running lights look better.
I'm afraid they made these dual lights because the lower light strip is shorter than in the current 7 PreLCI series.

If you look at the original G70 press release, they wanted the DRLs to be the prominent feature with the headlights just blending in the background.

However, since the dual headlights is such a prominent feature, people notice it anyway, which is probably why the G70 looks ugly to many because they see both the DRL and headlights equally.

On another note, the new single headlight seem to be incorporating new engineering based on the spy shots. 2 bulbs is always brighter than 1 so it seems they might be doing some innovation to make that single headlight still be very bright.

I'm excited to see what new engineering technology they have incorporated in to it.

So the interior is identical to the IX3 but nicer material?

What does the panoramic display look like? Is it located near the steering wheel?

Looks sooooooo promising.... still presidential and luxurious, exactly as it should be, though still hard to see all the detail.

Well, the 7 Series already kissed the S a goodbye 3-4 years ago : )... Even if the 7 LCI is even just as good looking as the current with 0 improvements, after the current S facelift reveal, BMW is just going to widen the gap even more. They even have room for mistakes in my view.

By the way, the different in the LED DRL may not be that dramatic (just my guess) as the teaser photo suggest. The current G70 with photos taken from a lower angle just like the teaser also look as straight as that one. Can't find the same aggressive angle as the teaser, but this is close.

Not near to stearing, all front window. Render is 95% near to real, but the grill is like on M5

It depends on what you saw. Maybe it was series 7 with the m package. I suppose the vertical grill will be in the pure excellence version, and the horizontal grill will be in the m package.

That’s disappointing then.

Much prefer the style of the new S class.

No change for the better. In my opinion, this is another controversial decision of the brand. For a car priced at 180–200 thousand euros, more than half of the dashboard is covered with fabric instead of leather. Such material is typical of the low class and not for the flagship of a premium manufacturer. The same is true for the current model. The BMW seventh series, which until recently used fine leather materials, has now replaced it with fabric. The goal is hardly a premium feel. Rather, it is a desire for big profits from low-cost materials.
The classic dashboard is also missing, which leaves space in front of the steering wheel visually empty. The steering wheel itself looks disproportionately small compared to the size of the car. It looked like some kind of perverted Japanese toy to me.
The central display is identical to the one in the significantly more affordable X3 model, which further dilutes the feeling of a flagship. Even the cable bag is the same as the previous facelift and looks like an accessory from a budget product. This bag probably costs $ 1 - I think even the zipper is missing. 99% again There is no possibility of mounting a ski rack.
It is possible that the new model looks a little more refined compared to the previous one, but this is mainly noticeable when the cars are next to each other. For most people the difference will remain unnoticed.
The biggest problem, however, is the feeling of compromise in materials and details. In a car of this price class, such decisions can hardly be justified. If this is the new direction of the brand, for some premium customers it may turn out to be disappointing. For me certainly.

Did you get to see the G70 LCI? Any thoughts on how it looks in person? I’m hoping it’s attractive compared to what the ugly pre LCI looks like. Any fees back would be great.
