Carbon Fiber add on not tape on

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to change the interior wood trim to carbon fiber; however, most of the application I saw are flim skin style where you apply it like a tape to cover it up. I saw this item on ebay and it calim to be a real carbon fiber trim "add on", sounded like a very thin carbon fiber trim that some how attach to the exisiting interior trim to cover it up. has any one use it before? please share your experience if you tried it before.

quote from the ebay listing:
"For BMW E92 E93 "Coupe / Convertible with Left Hand Side Driver *With I-Drive Control Knob 2007-2009 Model Add-on Carbon Fiber interior trim dash kit (10pcs/Set)"

Yeah, that's a nice looking replacement set of trim pieces. OEM costs around $1500.00

Thank you guys for replying, but after get into contact with the vender, turns out it's really a thin CF overlay 1~2mm over the existing trim and using 3M tape to secure it down. however this 10 pcs is missing the center trim on the back seat. don't know why they didn't make a complete set.

buyers be aware

FYI, buyers be aware, not spreading any runmor, but this whole experience is just horriable. I tried to negotiate a local pickup for the past 5 days, but the vender kept on using all sort of excuses to delay and cancel many schedule picked up. If anyone is able to make a deal with this vender, please update and share your experince with me.

they have them on Tischer for ~$780... you can have brushed aluminum, piano black, carbon fiber, and a few other colors... these are full replacements, not overlays (obviously).

OEM (tischer)

You're not going to find replacements for cheap... these are molded and crafted to fit exactly where they need to

here is a set here, NOT TISCHER but is essentially the same thing:
