They go on a 32gb FAT32 USB flash drive, not a DVD.
Only the CCC Navigation system uses DVDs now. |

One other question....the place where I park my car for work is secured...its a secure lot
Can I leave my car running and do the update..or the car must be off with the start/stop button being pressed twice? |

I copied PKDGB folder and config file to the USB flash card....plugged it into the USB slot in the middle console and the light on the drive came up but nothing happened...I waited about 10 mins
So then i tried plugging it into the USB port in the glove box...nothing happened The only folder I did not copy to the USB drive was the BMW_Naivation foler...because when you click that ...the config file and the PKDGB folder comes up car manufactured 09/2009 why is it not working?? Thank you |

The current software version on your car may not support map updates via USB. This is quite common, on the 2009 model.
Do you you know which version you currently have? |

I think 2009 USA maps 1.46 something
so if it does not support USB can I copy the files to a DVD? If so, I did not see and .ISO files in the download there was just Main folder called: BMW_Naviagtion_2013 then in next folder there was PKDGB folder and config file (so two things) Where do I find the .ISO files to copy to the DVD's? |
