Piece fell Off Front Bumper!
Hey guys I need some help. It was raining last night and my city has shitty lighting and roads. So the city was fixing this main road and I think they put sand in between two halfs of it and it got washed away by the rain. So I'm driving on the road and I hit huge divot/rut where the sand shoulda been and it felt like my whole floor and bumpers hit the road so I pulled over into a parking lot to check out the car. Everything was fine no cracks or nothing but then I noticed a piece fell off. I've posted a picture. It's one of those things that looks like the "tow hook cover" but when I tried putting the tow hook one in to see if it fit before I ordered one, it didn't fit. It's a fraction different!! now it looks like shit Anyone know what it's called and where I can buy it? I don't even know how it could have fallen

The headlight washer cover fell off, ecstuning has some unpainted ones you can paint or maybe you can find painted ones at ebay. Part number for left headlight washer is 61677188511.

Headlamp washer cover/top. Can you see a black plastic cylinder looking thing inside that hole?
Either way...cheap part just gotta paint it. Might be able to order it paint matched. |

Hey thanks! Ya there's some weird thing in there. What's in the one on the other side? I tried taking it off but it seemed to be attached to something with a couple of tight springs.

This also happened to both of my headlight washer caps. Very poor design by BMW from what I've read. Personally I think this is a terrible "feature" of the car. Who really needs their car to wash their headlights?! You can get one of these unpainted for about $18 online. Then just buy a touch up spray paint bottle that obviously matches your paint color and spray it yourself to save money. I would also recommend pulling the fuse for the headlight washers to avoid this problem in the future.

I bought the black sapphire paint from automotivetouchup.com too for rear tow hook cover. They matched the BMW paint perfectly. |
