I was going to order the 2014 750i but....

With the new S-Class on the horizon, doesn't it make the current 7 series look like it has run out of gas? The next 7 series should blow the S-class out of the water, I hope it comes along some time next year!

Should I go with the tried and true current 7 series or wait for the next S-Class competitor.........

I went from an F10 to an F02. I love the current 7. Once you own a BMW, you'll have have at least one BMW in your garage.

Don't get caught up in marketing crap. The 7 is still a car I would choose. If you want a BMW, get a BMW. So what if another car can do 0-60 .00001 sec faster than a 7 or have lots more tech toys that you'll never use (like auto park or grenade launchers). You owned BMWs because you like the way they look, feel, and drive. Emotions and personality of a car can't be measured on a marketing brochure.

The new 750 li Xdrive with active roll stabilization is definitely not a tired ride. The f01/02 is not a tired car in the least.

I guess my point is that the current 7, while a fantastic car, has been on the market for some time now, and when you compare interiors to the new MB S class, the current 7 is starting to look like it's almost 7 years old now. I think the next 7 is going to really be an awesome competitor for the new S.

I would never buy an MB, but I do think I will hold out on my order until the next gen 7 comes along, especially if it is going to look anything like the pictures from the renderings for the 2015 MY.

Drive what's available now, otherwise, you're always going to want the next best thing. The F01/02 came out in late 2008 and just gotten the LCI treatment this year, so that means BMW is going get another 2-3yrs out of this body. I believe the US 7 might get the LCD cluster in 2014, that would be a treat.

The next 7 is not so close as it will have some radical new changes as CF structure converted in an important weight drop.
The LCI model looks great when equipped with LED Adaptive Lights and an Individual interior (M Pack too)

Congrats, you made the right choice. My F01 has made me so happy and I'm really picky when it comes to cars. I couldn't ask for anymore. BMW nailed it this time.

I have Owned Three 7 Series Including My Current F01.

There Will NEVER be Another Luxury SHedan In This Price Point That Delivers The "All Around" Driving Experience As Well As The 7.
Sure... You Can Step Up To A AMG model, But You Are Then In A Whole Other Price Point.

The Next Gen 7 Which I Believe Will Be Released Next Year As A 2015Model, Will Continue To Do Us And Anyone Who Enjoys "Driving" Proud.
