Kempe was a great addition but whats more important is that Quick is healthy and playing great again!

that's the biggest point, we really didn't do that good in offseason with signings..but with a bunch of No Names we are Power Ranked #3 at the moment, with the best defense in the NHL, Goals against 2.1 - #1, Penalty Kill also #1, and scoring #8 in the league 3.4 gls per game.

Finally the Kings are fun to watch again, playoffs look fun! cant wait

Duchene traded half was through the first...odd, very odd. You're stating you couldn't work out the deal 10 minutes sooner?

Needless, he's a Sen now, in a three way trade that also involved the Preds. Rumors the Pens tried to get him...but didn't want to give up too much.

Initially thought the Sens would be killer...but they fave up Turris.

'king guys squeak one out at the Pond. The first 2 periods I actively watched, while brutal on both sides, the Ducks were DOMINATE. I'm guessing Martinez is pissing blood still this morning.

I watched some of that game. Quite the slugfest--seems to be quite the rivalry. Thing that gets me is how good the Ducks are while missing a bunch of their top players. The Sharks barely squeaked by last week--think this Duck team when healthy is going to be the top team.

Always interesting to watch the game on a national broadcast versus local. Get to here more insight about from a neutral perspective. Exciting game and yeah we were a bit lucky to get the win. I wanted to go as i live near Anaheim but been too busy.

Yeah, last night it was the Sharks chasing them around all night. It's a league where speed and skill is the most important thing. These West teams with toughness, size and grittiness are having a hard time with the likes of these East coast speed teams.
