IMHO the 760Li will be better.

There's nothing like the pulling power of the a V12 engine

Can't wait. I love Alpina, they really know how to make an already special car more special. I wish we got more of their lineup in the US.

Yes there is, a much lighter more powerful v8 twin turbo that maintains a better balance for the car. V12's are silly for larger cars. Light weight sports car that can tack on the extra weight from a v12 are feasible, but in a sedan it's just a status symbol.

They really don't have to put camo on the car, it's gonna be the same treatment as the previous Alpina cars, front lip, rear trunk lip, quad exhaust tips and 21' Alpina multi-spoke wheels lol

Agreed. Even Lambos will stop making V12s. I never thought the BMW V12 was responsive, the F02 760Li felt very heavy to drive. I've driven the new 750, it drives like a 5 series (lighter) unlike the last gen F02 which I've owned.

The only negative thing about the Alpina B7 is depreciation. Good for the used car buyers, you can pick up a one year old B7 for $30k cheaper.

I wonder if there is a collector's market for the B7 to drive the cost up years later?

Looks like they are going to use a bigger version of the 50th edition wheels.

The logo animation is what we B7 owners get every time we start up the car on the info screen. It is cool. Very excited about the new B7 as I am already on the list for the M760i so curious which will offer xDrive. That is a must here in Michigan.

Peace
Noushy

Personally, I'm not sold on ALPINA and this new B7. There are many reasons I say that:
1) ALPINA (for me) is not a brand that is not really affiliated with the BMW Group. In fact, I feel like the relationship between ALPINA and BMW would be like the relationship between BRABUS and Mercedes Benz.

That and it is not authentic unlike M Gmbh (which is the one and only performance arm of BMW Group)

2) Wheels look like sh*t.

3) In the F01/F02, the performance variant was NOT the Alpina B7 BUT it was the 760Li with M-Sport Package. The 760Li M-Sport was the flagship variant of the F01/F02

4) ALPINA looks like some luxury pimpmobile. I'm willing to believe that the upcoming M760Li will be a more authentic and more polished interpretation of the G11/G12 7 series.

Just saying
