Sorry to say but Lexus tries to achieve what BMW is creating...not the other way around. Lexus is always few generations behind....like every other luxury Japanese brands that try to imitate german design and quality but never comes close to it.

Did someone say it looks amazing? I like the back lines, but the front, esp. the grill, is ugllllyyyyyyyyyy !!!! This car used to have a sportier look to it, I'm sorry, but I just don't see it now.....I'm sure car features, interior, engine, etc are superb, but the way it looks could've been done so much better...but that's just my personal opinion.

I can't say I like those wheels on a 7 series, a little bit too much rice. But the M6 bumper does seem to fit the face of the 7 series perfectly! Heres to hoping someone with a bit of interest in this tries to manufactur it one day

2007 BMW M-Roadster Sounds like the old M-Coupe, but a bit more refined and doesn't loose its rear end for no reason 2008 BMW 135i My favorite of my BMWs currently. So far very happy to leave it bone stock. |

this thing is gorgeous!
I love the short wheelbase car, it looks much better proportioned. From what I read from interviews, due to how they set up this cars suspenion geometry pretty much sealed how it would look - i.e. much better proportioned and not requiring high trunk, huge wheels to make it look good, etc. Bangle was saying that thanks to engineers this car turned out better designed. there was one guy from Iran who designed the whole interior and they also praised his job, but also said that few people from the BMW board of directors, arguably guys who get to use the older 7er quite much, hated the flat dash and insisted it becomes more driver oriented. Thanks to those people in the top of the chain, the car got changed a little. It's nice to know I thought. ![]()
