ECU Tune and Downpipes
Hello All,
I am new to the 7 series world as I have just picked up a 2016 750i M sport. I love it and it will be my new daily replacing a problematic built jeep wrangler. A little about me, I am fairly young (30 years old) and I have had 10 BMWs. I currently own an M4 as well. My question is if anybody has any experience or advice about adding a tune and downpipes to these cars to give it a little more muscle and sound. The car feels fast but I just cant leave anything too stock. |

I've also had a F82 M4 with stage one ECU, but for daily I think it should be enough. With a resonator delete you will get the sound you like.

Yea brother for sure!
I’m working with a couple different places right now to get some info. Project gamma in Houston has downpipes. They are looking into front mount intakes. I’m also gonna be taking a look at a pure turbos upgrade. Gotta make sure the stock tranny and diff etc can handle the extra power. Looking to get this beast to 700hp mark |

On turbos, someone with a 650i just did them on his N63. Should check out the 6 series forums.

Agreed. I run bootmod3 on my M4 and it's night and day. Before that I had JB4 and it did the job but it's crap compared to BM. And for the price you can't beat it

Im naive to what exactly bm3 offers though. Is it strictly OTS or do they offer custom solutions as well? |

What mods do you have that would need a custom tune? You can have both custom and ots as well as data logs, own map customization etc. If you need BM3 pm me and I can help you out.

Still no draggy times unfortunately. I did however run into a brand new widebody hellcat charger on my way home from the gym last night. I explained to the guy that I had just traded in my hellcat and was curious how the 7 would match up.
We only managed to get one highway run in Mexico in. He had me by about a car up to 170mph. I was very very impressed with how well my car hung with him. If the Hellcat was modified it would have been a very different story but it seems a stage 2 g11 is about as close as can be to a stock hellcat |
