DME has pretty consistently been the top tune as far as I can tell for quality/power. I was strongly considering RK tunes because of the huge price difference but read too many negative stories about customer experience. I went with what seemed safest and with their Black Friday special it's more comparable price wise. Either way I'm sure you'll be happy. Def looking forward to increasing the volume a bit more. This thing is still basically stock sounding |

The reason for the different tune options is that some states do not have 93 octane so they tune it for 91 instead. You never want to run lower octane in a car tuned for higher octane. You'll create knock and detonation possibly blowing your motor.
Because of the lower octane, you'll net less power than a higher octane gas/tune.

Unfortunately only 91 for me here in Vegas. Def leaving some power on the table with the lower octane. I've been told these cars respond well to E30. I may look into that as an option soon.

I ran roughly 3.5-4 gallons in my tuned M5 and did it a few times in the 7. It did respond fairly well. I was told you have to do it in stages. Start with 1-2 gallons and increase to 3.5-4. Let the car adapt to the changes.

Mo from DME Tuning suggested adding 1-2 gal of E85 to each full tank of gas, is that just to increase the octane count?
