2019 750i Coding Question

When I unlock the car, the rear panoramic moonroof shade opens and when the car is locked, the panoramic moonroof shade closes. Is this by design and if so, is there a way to code this to prevent it from opening when the car is unlocked?

You're either pressing the button to long (for both lock/unlock commands)...or you (or a previous owner) changed the time parameters for lock/unlock...and didn't put enough time delay for other operations not to happen.

The time delay parameters for lock/unlock can be changed with coding...such as the Bimercode app. (see info from the Bimmercode website below for the G11 7 series):

Glad you got it resolved. What was the fix?

From my understanding, the rear moonroof screen works in tandem with the window screens. So if you have the screens up, and the moonroof shade open, it will close it when you turn the car off and lock,and reopen when the car is unlocked.

Ended up being a delay issue. Changed the delay and it resolved the issue.
