No Spotify and AT&T WiFi hotspot not working
I've just added a new-to-me CPO 2020 750ix. Purchased from BMW dealer. This is my 12th BMW since '98, and my 6th 7-series.
Even though Spotify is checked off in the media list to show, it does not appear in the media choices. Also, I signed up for the AT&T WiFi hotspot with the car's mobile number. AT&T says it is working and active, but each time I try connecting to the hotspot in the car I get no internet connection. My other vehicle is a 2020 X7 40. I just got an iDrive update to a 2022 version (don't remember exactly and didn't take a photo yet) for it. Yet the 2020 750 is only at 03/2020.48 - but says no OTA updates are available. Any ideas on what's happening with Spotify for my 750, WiFi, and what *should* the iDrive software version be at? Cheers! |

I suspect (but obviously do not know for sure) it is an issue on the BMW or ATT end as my ATT esim has lost its connection as well ('23 G70)

The esim is back. Don't know what the issue was and hope the internet is working for others as well.

Not quite 'everything' is working
So now that the iDrive has been updated, if the WiFi "HotSpot" option is turned on in the mobile devices setting (meaning that the AT&T internet connection is turned on) - the Touch Command Tablet just says "Connecting...".
The Tablet shows as connected to the car's WiFi in iDrive, but the tablet won't leave the "Connecting..." screen. Unless I uncheck the WiFi HotSpot setting - doing that immediately reconnects the Touch Command. I see that my Touch Command software version is from 2019... does it now need to be updated as well?? |

Thanks for the suggestion.
No love though... WiFi hotspot has to be unchecked in order for the tablet to connect (even though iDrive says it is connected). |

Update: Issue Fixed
I had the Touch Command tablet software updated from:
touchcommand2-1907.19163 to: tc_app3-21-03.20354.00 and the issue is now fixed. |
