No audio of any kind after rear bumper replacement

Hi...I recently had my rear bumper cover replaced. When I got the car back I had ZERO audio of any kind. Initial dings on start up, seat belt, audio from stereo, rear and front sensor beeps. No audio of any kind. I have a 2012 Alpina B7. Can anyone assist on a possible reset process or which fuses I need to pull and inspect? Seems odd for all audio to fail at once after this work is done. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If I posted this in the wrong section of this forum please advise and Ill move it. Thanks!

Thank you!

You should scan the car for error codes first. The car is likely aware of the issue. If you can't you can try the hard way:

Firstly, more than anything, replace the battery in your car if you even think for a second that it is too old. A bad battery can be extremely hard to diagnose. Often times these batteries pass tests no problem, but aren't capable of sustaining the voltage and current needed to operate all of the systems in these cars. Especially in the early days of F series cars, like your pre-LCI B7. This can result in ancillary modules cutting out. Amplifier shutting down, headlight malfunctions, seat control issues, etc.. If the battery is good,

unplug your battery negative terminal for a while if you think a reset/sleep will help. I personally don't think that will work. If it doesn't,

Check 5 amp fuse F120 which is in the rear right fuse box in the trunk. Then,

Check the main amp power connection and 50 amp fuse F509 at "Z3" which is the distribution module attached to the top of your battery in the trunk.
Basically make sure that all of the red 12V+ connections are seated correctly into this module. These are easily left unplugged or disturbed if the shop working on the car removed the battery for any reason. If that's fine,

Reconnect your battery. If it's still not working continue:

The amplifier is in the trunk under the trunk liner. Check your amplifier for visual signs of water ingress. This is common. If none,

Turn the car on, and check for voltage at the amplifier with a meter. If there is voltage,

Unplug the "MOST" optical connector at the amp and visually inspect for a light signal. You should see red flashing light coming out of plug end of that connection. If you don't see a signal you have bigger problems.

This would be a whole lot easier if you could check the car for error codes. I recommend investing in a tool like an OBDlink CX or MX+, and getting the BimmerLink app.

Hope it is an easy fix for you.
