The pop-pop-pop tunes and exhaust notes are the whistle tips of today.

You could guess the same might be true for motorcycle enthusiasts. Some people totally buy into the idea that louder bikes mean better safety like, making sure they're heard and not just seen. LOL

After eating a really spicy Mexican, Indian or Asian meal the exhaust sounds from the exhaust of my Z4 hides the noise coming from me!

How about an exhaust custom designed by an acoustical engineer to flow properly with a particular modified engine and altered output?
It's not factory. Gonna roll your eyes? Settle down.

I always thought old bikes sounded cool loud, Kawasaki 900's, CBX...etc.
These loud popping turbo backfiring cars you crazy kids drive these days scare me LOL |

Burble tunes are one thing... But I have an always will enjoy a well-engineered exhaust. The point is performance and sound.
If I were the last human on earth, I'd still want an aftermarket exhaust. Hell, half of the appeal of the e92 s65 powered M3 is the SOUND! You only get to enjoy fast cars when you're going fast. You get to enjoy a great sounding car nearly all of the time. |

My F10 M5 is catless and muffler delete, resonators only, with BM3 stage 2 tune and it sounds great. Only time it pops is manual downshift, which is exactly what I did to a hellkitty with his window down yesterday. 🤣🤣🤣
