BMW Certified Shops Around Nova/Ashburn?

I got into an accident this past Friday night and ran up into a curb. I really wanted to go to D&V as I've used them in the past before for another vehicle and they were outstanding! Only issue now is my new insurance is with StateFarm and they told me there can be potential out of pocket expenses on my end, as they are not in network. I do have full coverage along with comprehensive (If that helps at all).

It would be preferred to just pay my deductible and no other out of pocket expenses for repairs (Also to mention it is a lease). I currently have my vehicle at CarStar to just get an estimate of how much everything would be. I was wondering if anyone has dealt with CarStar Centerville? I did also realize that they are BMW certified and BMW of Sterling uses them as there collision facility.

Any feedback would be much appreciated

Just curious, is extraordinaries in your network? They do dealer work for Aston martin and a few others. I've first hand had experience with them and the owner. They do stellar work.

You have the right to choose where your car is repaired.

I’d recommend going to the place you want to use, and getting a preliminary estimate and see if State Farm will let them proceed.

State Farm is likely just saying the out-of-network thing cause they rather you go to one of their preferred locations that likely has seamless integrations and more vetted pricing.

To be fair, it does makes sense:
Just cause you can go anywhere you want, doesn’t mean you can just go there without authorization and charge anything they want to charge State Farm either.

But, if the place you prefer is reputable and charges reasonable pricing, I’m sure State Farm will be more likely to proceed without much pushback

That is true. D&V Masters does have a expensive labor rate. Honestly my plan is to get an estimate from CarStar since I towed the car there today. I called D&V this morning and the receptionist had told me people with StateFarm do tend to pay out of pocket expenses for certain things.

I was not able to have my vehicle towed there to begin with, as the receptionist told me to first receive a estimate from StateFarm, as they charge $150/day storage fee. Thankfully my m2 does not need to be repainted at all, as its just wheel, suspension, and control arm that was damaged. My main concern as of now is to have original OEM parts installed on the car
