I particularly enjoyed the part where the dash was cleaned.

Looking at the pictures (didn't look at the video yet), that looks like flood damage. The high water mark can be seen on B Pillar. Hope this car is designated totaled and not sold to someone after cleaning....

Agreed. Towards the latter part of the video the Detailer can be seen pressure washing interior parts removed from the car - such as the dashboard - though I didn't see him pressure wash underneath the dash.

At some point, one just needs to throw the towel and call the insurance company to total the flood-damaged vehicle.

The video was short and entertaining to watch, but the entire task was utterly pointless. If you resort to openly pressure-washing the INTERIOR of a car and spraying LEATHER with a coat of paint, it's no longer a vehicle. At best, it's a donor for mis-represented parts on eBay.

I hope all of those parts are clearly labelled as "flood damaged", and perspective buyers are not duped into thinking they are buying clean new seats. Never mind a whole clean car.

Something tells me that's exactly what actually happened.
*sigh*

Cleaning the car's interior and dash this way causes Electrical Corrosion and mold (!)
After a while the car's dash will light up like a Christmas tree...

Merry Christmas BMW

I totally agree! After pressure wash cleaning I think the South Koreans put the car in a hot paint booth oven to dry it out. Perhaps then the car goes off to the auction.?. In the video, after a little scrubbing, the guy just spray paints over the mold residue on the seats... Here's another video he did with a variety of cars, so it must be a thing over there.
