Same problem again: My IP address must be blocked by the site

I could not get on the site during the last three days except for a few minutes here and there. I even tried the VPN putting me into another US state and Europe. I even tried a different browser. I cleared the history of my browser. I cleared all the cookies. I cleared my DNS.

I’m writing this from my cell phone using my mobile cellular data because if I try using my Wi-Fi or using my laptop on the same Wi-Fi, I cannot access Bimmer post. I got a n “error. Connection timed out”.

Please let me know what I need to do or what you can do to let me have access again.

I turned the Wi-Fi back on within a few seconds of writing my previous post. And I was not able to post this message. I had to use my mobile data again so you can read this message.

I tried another laptop on the same Wi-Fi network and same problem. Cannot access the site, it times out.

So it looks like somehow my WiFi IP address or whatever identifier it has…has been blocked by Bimmerpost again.

Site has been super janky over the last week... might be related to that?

Thank you. That’s what I thought as well, but looks like everybody is able to access the site now and I can access it quite easily without any problems using my mobile cell phone data plan.

But I cannot access it from my Wi-Fi using two different laptops and the same cell phone on WiFi. I checked my firewall, I reset and turned on and off my routers, I renewed my IP configuration, I renewed my DNS assignment, I tried from a different browser, I made sure all blockers are off. I deleted my Internet, browser history and cookies. Don’t know what else I can do.

I am quite certain that Bimmerpost is blocking my access from my Wi-Fi address. This happened before about a year ago, and I posted about it here, and they fixed it the same day.

Sheesh, you've done a lot of work! Frustrating. Any guesses as to why it's happening?

Unfortunately, I don’t know. I wish I could sign in from another Wi-Fi router to check. I asked a friend from another state and he had no problem accessing the site.

I think Bimmerpost IT tech admin should check if for some reason my Wi-Fi address has been put on a block list buy some algorithm.

It looks very likely that my Mac ID for my Wi-Fi is blocked by BimmerPost by accident

Can someone contact a site admin???


It looks very likely that my Mac ID for my Wi-Fi is blocked by BimmerPost by accident.

I am only able to write this using my mobile data. As soon as a switch to Wi-Fi, I lose access to Bimmerpost in an instant. As soon as I switch my WiFi off, I can access Bimmerpost again in an instant.

I’m experiencing the same problem again. I can access this website using my cellular data plan, but I cannot do it from my Wi-Fi.

This has been happening to me as well, for both this site and the G29 forum.

At the same time my WiFi only iPad is trying to connect…and timing out…I can access either site immediately on the iPhone.

It’s been a little better in the past few days but it still happens…I’ve done everything I can from my end but the problem seems to be on this side.

Running into this issue now wth. Upgraded to unifi dream machine and not working. Was working before upgrade. On wifi nothing no pings, on cell phone data i can see it just fine.

Yes all my issues are over WiFi…my iPad screen will just sit there, meanwhile I go to the iPhone and immediately connect…the WiFi continues to sit.

Mines is working now after i message apptest per fe7565 post. This is just silly to be blocking ip address all the time. Never had issues with other forums.

Hello

I wasn’t able to PM you moments go, no option to do so, now it magically reappeared.

And now it’s gone again.

I open the site and it loads, then it freezes.

This has been going on for weeks, but only on WIFI.

While the freeze occurs on WiFi I can go to the iPhone and the site loads fine, while the iPad WiFi remains frozen.

I’ve rebooted my modem with no result.

What to do?
