One of my friends stopped by a local detailing shop that is promoting Formula 1051. This is the first time I have ever heard of this product. is it just a fancy name to market a type of ceramic type coating?

There are dozens, if not hundreds, of ceramic coating products on the market these days. Many of them slap labels on a wholesale products (e.g.: manufactured by 3M or Recochem) and market their brands through social media channels.

This one seams no different.
