2023 760i issues when using daily

Hi,

I have a 2023 760i. I have been using this car for a while, but it came with a lot of issues. I must?ve taken it to the dealer go to the workshop more than I wouldn?t. A normal car. I do drive it a lot close to about 2000- 2500 miles a month. My question is are these cars not meant to be driven as much or do I have a lemon?
What would a normal wear and tear mileage be for these cars to not have that many issues.

This is my every day drive and work hard so that?s why it?s being driven that much.
I?ve been in other cars doing the same kind of work, but never so much. Have I had to take them to a workshop to get it fixed.

Looking up for people who have this vehicle and to see if they?ve come across similar issues to discuss the matter.
I love this car, which is why I?m wanting to order another one after this lease is expired. I just want to know whether if I really have a lemon or should I look at other options?

And on another note, whether if the newer versions are experiencing the same multiple issues with Excessive views of his car.

Stating what issues you have could help. The 7 series has a lot of problems but at least they're addressing it (see SIBs). My 2023 740i had 4 recalls (wiper motor, IBS, RSU, and now cabin filter wiring) as well as a couple of issues, some of which were documented on the SIBs.

Probably had $8000 total warranty work done so far, but fortunately none if it were drivetrain related. Mostly lights, trim, and tension struts.

I used to drive my 2016 about 2500/month and it was flawless. Maybe you got a lemon or an early build. They’re pretty reliable cars from my experience.

No issues so far here either. Like mentioned above, you should list the issues so members can assist you better.

Not just in the 7, but even in the X7 and I had one. The S68 engine is one of the worst engines ever. I will never own another beemer with this engine; a true junk. Just ask your dealer how many S68 vehicles with cylinder head issues do they fix in a month. Admittedly, I don't know if the issues you are referring to are drivetrain related.

How can we possibly respond if the op says nothing about what the issues are. Or what was done to resolve the issues? Or where he is? Or whether he bought the car new or used.

What issues are you having?

I put 20k miles since August 2024, flawless but has been in the shop for regular maintenance. The only issue I have is that I had to replace all 4 tires (non-runflat btw) and 20k seems premature for that.

The S68 is supposed to be an improvement over the N63 it replaced. I have had no issues with mine. . I am very close with my service advisor and he has not flagged the S68 as an unreliable motor. Maybe I'm just lucky but I've had 2 cars with it and no issues other than recalls. Sorry your experience has been different

Satisfied 2023 G70 760i Owner

Howdy.
In 33 months of ownership, I have logged 39,000 miles. The BMW phone app states that my average gas mileage is 24.7mpg.
Since taking ownership in 7/23, I have had only two unexpected repairs: 1) After 7 weeks of ownership, I discovered a 14" crack in the inner panel of the pano-roof glass. Repaired/roof replaced by BMW under warranty. 2) After approx. 25K miles, both original front tires wore down to the steel cord on the outside edge. Tires were replaced at my expense and BMW performed a 4-wheel alignment, also at my expense. All good now.
I've had only good performance from the S68 and drivetrain. Uses no oil. (I change the oil approx. every 5-6K miles.) I have been pleased with the OEM 'Turanza' tires. During the winter, I swap winter tires - this year driving about 4K miles on the winter set. To the OEM package, I have added (aftermarket) a spare tire and wheel change equipment.
During 4 hours on the Florida Turnpike yesterday, I saw another G70 headed my direction. A rare sighting for me. Don't see many 'Sevens' between Orlando and Ocala.
