Driver's seat issues

On my new 2026 750ex it has a feature " comfort exit " and " automatic "
" comfort exit " means that the car when shutting off the engine the seat, steering wheel moves back and steering wheel moves up .
When I get in the car the seat and steering wheel don't go back to Memory 1
( which is what I drive with ) unless I buckle the seat belt then it moves to the proper position ( memory 1 ) but it has to be done before I turn on the engine otherwise it doesn't happen .
I went into the settings and turned off comfort exit and automatic and the same issue.
I turned off just comfort exit and left automatic and the same
I called Genius but their suggestions din't fix anything either !
Does anybody have a suggestion on how to be able to get to a destination, turn off the car and when I comeback the same position I left the seat and steering wheel are being kept when I left the car and I don't need to do anything just be able to drive with the seat and all the other memories the way there were left ?

Thanks for any help .

I'm not sure I understand your problem.

You should be able to sit into the car, press the brake for closing the door, then while or after closing the door you press the start button and the steering wheel moves downward immediately. It is not dependent in the belt, when the door is closed. It is dependent on the belt though, while the door is still open.

This is for security so you cannot drive while door open AND belt open. You need either one of them closed

The steering wheel lowers when you hit the start button but the seat only moves forward when the seatbelt is buckled in. Likewise when you unbuckle the seat moves back and the steering wheel raises when pressing the stop button.

On EV's the steering wheel moves up when opening the door as that turns off the car.

With all the optional features turned off, my driver seat doesn’t move at all.
