19" vs 20"?
I am about to order my F01 seven but I cant make up my mind about the wheels. I am split between 252 style 19s and 253 style 20s. While I prefer the looks of the latter I live in a country where the roads are quite broken and if the sacrifice in ride quality is big I would go for the 19s. Can people that have experienced both please give some advice.
I am also aware that the tyres make a difference as well. I have x5 4.8 at the mo and its on 20s with Bridgestone runflats and the ride is quite bad, a friend of mine has the x5 sd and his is on 20s but Dunlops and his ride is quite a bit smoother. I have no idea what brand the 7 carry... |

I have the 252s with dunlops and find a less harsh ride than on my E70 with 20s with Dunlops too. Just put 18s with winter tyres on my F01 and noticed a significant improvement in ride comfort. I guess you'll notice a similar step difference going the other way if you opt for the 20s.

LOL ... If he lives in an area with really bad roads, I would suggest the 19" tires...
The smaller rim size may also help him protect the rims from getting damaged!
