Light Saddle brown or just Saddle Brown?
Saw a beautiful white / dark brown interior 330 coupe, the owner said the interior is called "Saddle Brown".
In my F04 specs there is a "light Saddle Brown Dakota" option and when doing the BMW configurator, the color shows up much lighter in the screen. Is this the same leather we are talking about? Or the new F01/F04 "light" saddle brown is now actually lighther? Thanks for the clarification |

You can't really go by what you see on the configurator. It gives you a basic idea of what you can expect, but it's far from the REAL thing. You have to keep in mind that these images are computer generated and the lighting is 'generic' also, unless you have a calibrated computer screen and matching graphics card, whatever you see on your screen is not necessarily what the original really looks like!
You can go to a different computer with a different screen and the same image you just looked at will look completely different. Best thing would obviously be to go and look at the samples the dealers have of the leather and exterior paints.

Thanks. Anyone here seen the "Light" saddle brown? I am undecided if I should go with this one or with Barrique Red, for a dar grey exterior (Sophisto)

I have the light saddle leather example in front of me and it's not much lighter (if any) than the saddle color used in the saddle/black interior. Go with Barrique Red. You are lucky you can get it there. We can't get it in the US.
