These wheels are 360 forged. Scott from Forged Distribution told me they could do roundels; no problems. |

Very neat!
This is the first real life car I've seen with the factory ordered Privacy Glass (Option Code 761). Did you buy it off of the dealer lot or did you place an order for it? I tried very hard to get same stateside, but they wouldn't allow it. Which model is it? And, what other neat options does it have? Otherwise, do you plan to add the roundels? |

The option comes standard on all 7 series in Singapore. If this is not good enough, my ride is also equipped with electronically operated sunshades for the two rear doors and the rear windscreen. I believe SamLambo's 730 also comes with the tint. Its the local dealer here who loaded the options and got the list approved by the local authorities before importing the cars. The tinting especially depends very much on the law of the land. |

So you bought the car out of dealer stock? It's just that Privacy Glass - tinted windows dipped from the factory - is very rare and usually a custom order only type of thing, which is not available in the United States due to differing state laws. Do you know what other you have?

Yes mine to came with the tinted privacy wondows but when I checked for heat rejection, it was I think only around 40-50% so I added another layer of ceramic tint from huperoptics which will not degrade over time.
I personally feel the max one should go on the 7 is 21", however 20" is a good compromise between looks and comfort.

275/40/20 rear, 245/35/20 front With 21, I guess 275/35/21 rear and 245/30/21 frontand with 22, 275/30/22 rear and 245/25/22 front Diameter and circumference will not change much, but will these sizes defeat the purpose we buy the F02 for? Comfort will definitely be lost. The car will become so bouncy, expecially if you fit the 22 inch wheels, not to mention tyre availibility; how many brands will do these sizes? I'd rather stick to comfort. Just my two cents worth. Last edited by edlee; 01-20-2011 at 07:37 AM.. |

You can comfortably go 285 on the rears with 20". I have already seen two 7 on the road with 20" and 285 rears.

275/40/19 = 702.6mm diameter 275/35/20 = 700.5mm diameter 285/35/20 = 707.5mm diameter Thats quite a difference. As it is, our speedometer reading is approximately 5% off the actual speed (as compared against a satellite based GPS). Diameter difference of +5mm from the original 19 inch wheels will increase your ride height by 2.5mm Anyway, all those calculations aside, I felt better running on 275s bearing in mind cost and petrol consumption |

edlee brings up an interesting point: how does increasing wheel size over OEM affect speedo calibration, and how does one get it re-calibrated after new shoes?
