Would this setup work? Enkei RS05RR

Hi everyone,

I would like to your help and input.

Would I be able to make this work?
Wheel - Enkei RS05RR
Front - 18x10.5 / 5x120 / Offset +23 (Face R) - tire size: 275x35x18
Rear - 18x11 / 5x120 / Offset +30 (Face R) - tire size: 275x35x18 or 295x35x18

I am not sure about the 295x35x18. I could be wrong with the aspect ratio 35 versus 30.

My car is a E93 M3 stock suspension with EDC.
I also would run my current setup 245x40x18 (front) 265x40x18 on these wheels in the beginning. I know there might be some stretching until I change out the current tires.

Please let me know.

Best regards,
Guenther

Your plan on the front is doable but it will be challenging. You may need to add camber plates to make it work. The 9.5" et22 version would be far easier to fit.

I would run 295/35/18 on the 11" et30 rear. That should be a fairly easy fitment but you may need to add a little negative camber. Some people run 295/30/18 but that size is a full inch shorter than OEM and the only reason to go that route IMO is to run certain r-comp tires that are not available in a larger size. 295/30/19 is the right size for a 19" wheel on the M3 (same overall tire diameter as 265/35/19). To run that size on an 18" wheel means you are running an unnecessarily slim sidewall height and the wrong overall diameter.

I would definitely not stretch your OEM tires onto those wheels. Sell the tires and get some in proper sizes.

Slicer, a 265/35/19 is actually 26.3" tall while a 295/30/19 is right at 26", I guess close enough.

Yes you are correct, 305/30/19 is technically closer to the same overall diameter as 265/35/19.

Hey Slicer, I am thinking of getting the Forgestar F14s SDC. I was considering a 19X10 ET25 for the front and a 19X11 ET31 for the rears. Tires will be Mich PSS 275/30/19 and 295/30/19. I know the fronts should be no problem, but what about the rears ET31?

Thanks in advance...

Dave

The fronts will work well unless you have coilovers that reduce inner clearance.

The rear will work well but will be somewhat conservative. You could go to et25 with Michelins. Et27 for more flexibility to use more square / wide tires like AD08. Et31 would allow 305/30/19...

Thanks for the info. I talked to Benvo who has an E90 lowered with 19X11 ET25 BBS LMs and he rubs every now and then, very slight. So I thought the extra 6mm would alleviate this. What would you recommend for the front for a 19X10" wheel. Right now just OEM ZCP suspension, but may want to do a different setup later on.
