Considering buying a 730d 2016/17 (UK)

Hello, I’m after a new car since I sold mine last week(bmw f13) and I am considering a 730d 2016/17, had my 6 series for almost 4 years and never had any issues with it, lovely car but I need something more practical, the 7 series looks gorgeous and might be just what I need, I found a few that look great and have a decent spec, 360 cam, hud, sunroof etc. I might see one this Friday, is there anything in particular I should look for other than if it has been serviced on time? Any common issues with them? Thank you.

Thats not a US Engine so am not familiar with the drivetrain. Other than that check for:

1) Active grill shutters issues

2) Air suspension leaks

3) Comfort access/ soft close doors

Thats about all that comes to mind. GL with the purchase. Its an amazingly impressive vehicle.

Thank you, my biggest worry is the air suspension, a friend drives an s class with air suspension and every year something goes wrong with them.

I have a 2018 740d Xdrive which I have had from new, and other than a cosmetic issue with the front camera surround going “milky”, which was replaced under warranty, no issues to report.
