Buying akrapovic exhaust without tips?
The akrapovic exhaust's are available with carbon tips, titanium, or no tips. Does anyone know if the exhaust pipes exiting the muffler are the same diameter as BMW exhausts? I'm looking into buying the akrapovic and I would like to continue to use my M performance Tips as I like the look of them and if it saves me $1000+ on getting the Akra, that's always good.

The metal pipe inside of the carbon fiber tips is about 3-1/4" OD.
If you need other dimensions or pictures, just let me know. Measurements taken on an Akra rear section with CF tips. |
